1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using MetricViewer (the "Application" or "Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Application.

2. License

MetricViewer grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the Application on your devices for personal, non-commercial monitoring purposes. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the software.

3. "Lifetime" License & Updates

MetricViewer offers a "Pro" version available as a one-time purchase labeled as "Lifetime". For the purposes of these terms, the following conditions apply:

  • Lifetime Definition: The term "Lifetime" refers to the commercial lifespan of the MetricViewer product and service, not the lifetime of the purchaser or their specific hardware. The license grants access to the software as it currently exists. We reserve the right to discontinue the service or support with reasonable notice (e.g., 30 days). In the event that the MetricViewer service is officially discontinued, the lifetime license will terminate.
  • Version Scope: The purchased license is valid for the current major version (e.g., v1.x). The developer reserves the right to release future major versions (e.g., v2.0) introducing significant technological changes, which may require a new purchase or license upgrade.
  • Hardware Evolution: This license does not guarantee indefinite future updates, nor does it guarantee continued compatibility with future hardware releases, motherboards, drivers, or operating system updates.
  • Refunds: Refunds are handled directly by the purchasing platform (App Store, Google Play, or web payment processor) and are subject exclusively to their respective refund policies.

4. Hardware Compatibility and Dependencies

IMPORTANT: METRICS, DRIVERS, AND ANTIVIRUS

MetricViewer relies on third-party hardware sensors, motherboard drivers, and operating system APIs to retrieve system data (including, but not limited to, precise temperatures, voltages, power consumption, and fan speeds).

By using these features, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Hardware Limitations: Due to the vast variety of PC configurations, we make no warranty or representation that all metrics will be available, accurate, or fully supported on your specific system. The unavailability of certain metrics due to unsupported hardware or driver limitations does not constitute a defect in the Service.
  • Antivirus Interference: Some antivirus programs or security solutions (EDR) may incorrectly identify the necessary low-level drivers as potential threats. It is the user's responsibility to configure necessary exclusions.
  • Operating System Updates: We do not guarantee that advanced features will remain operational if OS updates, hardware manufacturers, or security vendors implement changes that block access to such drivers. Loss of functionality due to external factors does not constitute a breach of warranty.

5. Disclaimer of Warranty & Limitation of Liability

The Application is provided strictly on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the data displayed is 100% accurate at all times, as it depends on hardware sensors whose reliability may vary.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any damages (including, but not limited to, hardware damage, data loss, system instability, or loss of profits) arising out of the use or inability to use the Application. In no event shall the developer's total liability to the user exceed the actual amount paid by the user for the software.

6. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Application after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms of Service.
